
The Quantitative Social Science Initiative (QuaSSI)
 Welcome to the homepage of Penn State's Quantitative Social Science
Initiative (QuaSSI). QuaSSI seeks to promote the development of an interdisciplinary community of Penn State faculty, students, and other researchers interested in the improvement and application of quantitative techniques and tools in social science research and training. All QuaSSI events are open to any interested members of the Penn State community.
2012-13 QuaSSI Pre-Doctoral Fellows:
Four Penn State doctoral students have been named Quantitative Social Science Initiative Predoctoral Fellows for 2012: Ben Begozzi, political science, Vishesh Karwa, statistics, Peifeng Yin, computer science and engineering, and Jay Yonamine, political science. The 2012-2013 QuaSSI Predocs are also Affiliates of QuaSSI's Big Data Social Science IGERT Program.
